Delete your Trajo account
Last updated: September 15, 2026
You can delete your Trajo account yourself, from the app, or ask us by email if you no longer have it. This page explains both paths and exactly what deletion erases.
From the app, in three steps
This is the fastest path: deletion is immediate, with no one to wait for.
- Open Trajo, then Settings.
- At the very bottom, tap “Delete my account”.
- Read what will be erased, export your mileage logbook if you want to keep it, then confirm with your password.
Without the app
If you uninstalled Trajo, changed phones or lost access to your account, write to support@trajo.ca from your account email address, with “Account deletion” as the subject. We verify your identity and answer within 30 days.
What is erased, for good
Your trips and their paths, the GPS points behind them, your odometer readings, your vehicles, your expenses and receipt photos, your door-knocking visits and their photos, your classification rules, the devices registered for notifications, and your calendar authorizations — revoked at Google too, not only on our side.
What stays, and why
Client files belong to the organization that gave you the account and stay with it. Your account row is made anonymous rather than erased — your name, email and phone number are stripped from it — because the access log and your consents point to it, and a log full of holes protects no one. Invoices issued to your organization are kept, without your name, for as long as tax law requires it of the publisher.
Your mileage logbook
It is your tax record: the Canada Revenue Agency can ask you for it years later. Export it BEFORE deleting your account, from Trajo, Settings then Reports. After deletion it no longer exists anywhere.
