Real estate, where Trajo started
Trajo grew out of one agent's problem: five houses in an afternoon, a logbook to keep, and by evening nobody able to recall why they drove to Church Street.
The purpose fills itself in
This is the one thing most mileage apps cannot do. A showing scheduled at an address, a trip that ends there: Trajo links the two and writes the business purpose for you.
Without that link you are left with a kilometre count nobody can justify. The CRA asks for the reason for the trip, not just the distance.
The modules of the trade
Real estate is the only profile with everything switched on:
- MLS listings cached under licence, saved searches, comparisons and sharing.
- Open houses with a sign-in sheet and CASL consent collected on the spot.
- Buyer portal: a magic link, no password, opened from the client's phone.
- Mortgage calculator with current insurance premiums.
- Door-to-door prospecting, with streets done and streets left drawn on the map.
Five houses, one email
When you string showings together with the same buyer, Trajo waits until the outing is over before asking for feedback — one email naming all five properties, instead of five emails spread across the evening.
The logbook the CRA expects
Date, start, end, distance, purpose. Produced as PDF or Excel, in each agent's own language, and downloadable even if the agency's subscription is in arrears: the logbook belongs to the agent, not to the brokerage.
Distances are matched to the road network overnight. A trip that could not be matched is flagged as such in the logbook, along with the direction of the error — an estimate is never presented as a measurement.
