TrajoInspection and appraisal: your words, your files
A home inspector drives as much as an agent and claims the same kilometres. But there are no MLS listings, no open houses, no buyers — and an app that forces those screens on them wastes time at every launch.
What the inspection profile turns off
MLS, listings, saved searches, open houses, mortgage calculator, buyer portal, door-to-door prospecting. All of it leaves the menus.
Nothing is destroyed. If your organisation changes profile later, the data behind the hidden modules is still there and comes back into view. A profile is switched, not bought twice.
What it keeps
- Your inspections, at an address and a time slot, with notes, photos and voice dictation.
- Geofencing: arrival and departure are stamped by the device, not recalled from memory that evening.
- Your properties and files — the interface says "inspection" and "property", not "showing" and "listing".
- Expenses with a receipt photo, taxes split out, T2125 categories.
- The CRA logbook, as PDF or Excel.
The purpose, without typing it
An inspection scheduled at an address fills in the purpose of the trip that ends there. Same mechanism as a real estate showing: Trajo does not ask you to remember, it matches what happened.
Mileage, measured properly
Tracking starts on its own as soon as movement becomes credible, and Trajo keeps the points captured before confirmation so the first few hundred metres are not lost. Walking to the vehicle is not counted as driving.
Distances are then matched to the road network. An unmatched trip is flagged in the logbook: you know which are measured and which are estimated.
