TrajoContractors: mileage between job sites
You go from a job site to an estimate, from the supply store to a client. Nobody writes that in a notebook, and the CRA does not accept a round number at year end.
Tracking runs while you work
No button to press. The trip starts when movement becomes credible and closes when the vehicle stops. Trajo keeps the points captured before confirmation so the start of the drive is not lost — and walking to the truck is not counted as driving.
Offline, everything continues. Trips pile up on the device and leave on their own when signal returns. A basement job site or a rural road loses nothing.
Your words, and prospecting
The interface says job site, project and client. Construction is, along with real estate, the only profile that keeps door-to-door prospecting: for a contractor, knocking on doors in a neighbourhood is still a real channel, with streets done and streets left drawn on the map.
MLS, listings, open houses, the mortgage calculator and the buyer portal are off.
The expenses of the trade
Receipt photo, amount, taxes split out, T2125 category. Fuel, meals on the road and materials end up in the accounting export alongside the kilometres, with no re-entry.
Several vehicles
Truck, trailer, personal car: each trip attaches to the right vehicle, and odometer readings are captured as photos. If your truck has Bluetooth you can pair it with Trajo so departures are confirmed sooner — it is optional, and everything works without it.
What comes out at the end
A CRA logbook per person, as PDF or Excel, with the date, start, destination, distance and purpose. Kept for seven years, the period the CRA requires.
